Digital Printing
|
|
Digital printing means printing from computers to electronic print engines, such as laser printers and ink jet printers. Toner is applied to paper through a process of electrostatic charging of the paper. The paper attracts toner to where the image is placed.
Printing at all of Waikato Print's 6 Copy Centres is now produced one hundred
percent digitally. We can print in both colour and black - at a very
high resolution and onto a wide range of paper stocks and sizes.
There are many advantages to using digital printing over traditional methods. Run lengths can be as small as just 1 copy with no setup costs to inflate the price. You can merge your documents with a database and output documents that are
personalised to your individual clients. Digital printing also allows you to reduce your inventory of printed documents as you can request only the quantity that you need - when you need it. Additionally, you can update the document prior to printing, thus avoiding out of date or redundant inventory.
