Recycling Paper
At Waikato Print, we use a company 'Recall Secure Destruction Service', which adheres to all New Zealand Security Industry Association standards for secure destruction. All bins supplied to Waikato Print from Recall are individually numbered, and security sealed before leaving the University, and the seals are not broken until the material is ready to begin the destruction process. All material that is recycled through Recall is shredded in particles of 10mm diameter, through the largest destruction paper shredder in New Zealand.
Recycling Toner
Toner cartridges from photocopiers and laser printers are recycled through Campus Computers who are found in the ITS courtyard. You may deliver the cartridges there yourself or ring for the portering service to collect the cartridges. The cartridges are then either recycled or disposed off in an appropriate manner.
